About Me
Welcome!
In 2013, I earned my graduate degree in Counseling Psychology with a Child and Adolescent Counseling certificate from Avila University. With over 14 years of experience in the mental health field, I specialize in working with individuals facing depression, anxiety, abuse, family stressors, and self-harm. During my career, I have managed and led groups for an Intensive Outpatient Program and a Partial Hospitalization Program. I also have over 8 years of experience working in private practice. I have a passion for working with adolescents and their families to strengthen relationships and help them find happiness again.
I have extensive training in various therapeutic approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), family systems, solution-focused therapy, and EMDR (when appropriate). Together, we will collaborate to create a plan that includes a combination of approaches that best suit your needs.
When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband, two girls, and my dog Patrick Mahomes. I am passionate about my family, traveling, the outdoors, and spending time at home.
